Umaymah bint Ruqayqah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I gave my pledge of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ along with a group of women, and he taught us , “In whatever you are able and capable of.” I said, “Allah and His Messenger are more merciful to us than we are to ourselves.” I said, “O Messenger of Allah, take our pledge .” He said, “I do not shake hands with women; my word to one woman is my word to a hundred women.” Reference: Musnad Aḥmad 332
