Sahl ibn Saʿd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ said: “If something unexpected occurs during the prayer, should say ‘Subḥāna Allāh (Glory be to Allah)’. Clapping is for women, while glorification is for men.” Reference: Musnad Aḥmad 215
