Ibn Abī ʻAdī narrated to us from Ḥumayd, from Anas, who said, “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ came to Madīnah, and its people had two days on which they used to play in the ignorance (Jāhiliyyah). He said, ‘Allah has given you, in place of the two, two days better than them: the day of Fiṭr and the day of Naḥr.’” Reference: Musnad Aḥmad 93
