Ismāʻīl narrated to us: ʻAbd al-ʻAzīz narrated to us, from Anas, who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ said, “When one of you supplicates, let him be resolute in the supplication, and let him not say, ‘O Allah, give me if You will,’ for there is none who can compel Allah.” Reference: Musnad Aḥmad 75
