Jābir reported: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ went out to aṣ-Ṣafā and said. We will start with that with which Allah started. Then he recited the verse: 'Verily, (the hills of) aṣ-Ṣafā and Al-Marwah are of the symbols of Allah… (Al-Baqarah, 2:158)'" Reference: Sunan an-Nasa'i 2970
