Musa ibn Anas ibn Malik reports that his father said: “Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) had a vial from which he used to perfume himself.”

Thumama ibn 'Abdi’llah said: “Anas ibn Malik did not reject perfume. Anas also said: ‘The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) did not reject perfume'.”
Ibn 'Umar said: "Allah’s Messenger said (Allah bless him and give him peace): Three things are not to be rejected: cushions, oil and perfume, and milk.’”
Abu Huraira said: "Allah’s Messenger said (Allah bless him and give him peace): 'Men's perfume is perfume whose scent is apparent and whose color is not, and women's perfume is perfume whose color is apparent and whose scent is not'.”
Abu 'Uthman al-Hindi said: “Allah’s Messenger said (Allah bless him and give him peace): ‘If someone is given sweet basil, he should not reject it, for it comes from the Garden of Paradise!’"
Jarir ibn 'Abdi’llah reports: "I was brought before ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be well pleased with him), whereupon Jarir discarded his cloak and walked in his loincloth, so he said to him: 'Pick up your cloak!' ‘Umar then said to the group: 'I have not seen any man more handsome in form than Jarir, except what we have been told about the appearance of Joseph, the Champion of Truth (peace be upon him)'!”
