It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever buys food let him not sell it until he takes possession of it. Ibn 'Abbas said: "I think the same applies to everything else as to food."

It was narrated that 'Abdullah Ibn Abi Awfa about paying in advance. He said: 'We used to pay in advance during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and Abu Bakr and 'Umar, for wheat, barley and dates, paying people whom we did not know if they had those things or not.'''Ibn Abza said meaning, similarly.

It was narrated from Abu Rafi that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) borrowed a young camel from a man, and then he came to get his camel back. He said to a man: "Go and buy a young camel for him." He came and said: "I could only get a Raba camel of good quality." He said: "Give it to him, for the best of the Muslims is the one who is best in repaying."

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "A man had lent a camel of a certain age to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he came to get it back. He said: "Give it to him" But they could only find a camel that was older than it. He said: "Give it to him." He said: "You have repaid me well," The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said; "The best of you is the one who is best in repaying"

It was narrated from Sasmurah that: the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade selling animals in exchange for animal's ion credit.

It was narrated that Jabir Sair: "A slave came and gave his pledge to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to emigrate, and the Prophet (ﷺ) did not realize that he was a slave. Then his master came looking for him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said; 'Sell him to me.' So he bought him for two black slaves, then he did not accept until he had asked; 'Is he a slave?'''
