It was narrated that 'Aishah the mother of the Believers, said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came one day and said: 'Do you have any food?' I said: 'No.' He came in to me on another occasion, and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we have been given some Hais.' He said: "Then I will break my fast today, although I had started my day fasting."'

It was narrated that Hafsah that: "There is no fast for the one who does not intend to fast before dawn."

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to fast until we said: 'He will not break his fast.' And he used not to fast until we said: 'He will not fast.' And I never saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) fast more in any month than in Shaban."
It was narrated from Umm Salamah: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would not fast any two consecutive months except Shaban and Ramadan.
It was narrated from Umm Salamah: That the Prophet (ﷺ) would not fast any month of the year in full except Shaban and he used to join it to Ramadan.
It was narrated from Jubair bin Nufair that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to fast all of Shaban."
Usamah bin Zaid said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting any month as much as Shaban.' He said: 'That is a month to which people do not pay much attention, between Rajab and Ramadan. It is a month in which the deeds are taken up to the Lord of the worlds, and I like that my deeds be taken up when I am fasting."'
It was narrated from Usamah bin Zaid: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to fast continually and it ws said that he would not break his fast, and he used not to fast and it was said that he would not fast.
