‘Ammar b. Yasir said : I came to my family after a journey with my hands chapped and they perfumed me with saffron. In the morning I went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and gave him a greeting, but instead of responding to it he said, “Go away and wash this off yourself.” Abu Dawud transimitted it.
