Ibn 'Umar reported God's messenger as saying, "If anyone would like to look at the day of resurrection as though it were before his eyes he should recite: `When the sun is obscured[1] `When the sky shall be split open[2] and `When the sky shall be rent asunder.'"[3] 1.
