Ya‘la b. Murra told that when the Prophet (ﷺ) saw some khaluq (A liquid, yellow perfume mainly composed of saffron) on him he asked whether he had a wife, and when he replied that he had not he said, “Wash it, then wash it, then wash it, and do not use it again.” Tirmidhi and Nasa'i transmitted it.
