Unaisa, daughter of Zaid b. Arqam told on her father's authority that the Prophet (ﷺ) went in to visit Zaid when he was ill and said, "No harm will come to you from your illness, but how will you do if your life is prolonged after I am gone and you become blind?" He replied, "I shall seek my reward from God and show endurance," whereupon he said, "In that case you will enter paradise without being taken to account." She said he became blind after the Prophet (ﷺ) died, and that God restored his sight to him before he died.
